Charlie Chaplin's Red Letter Days

Educational / Theatre
Mar 31, 2019

And in the Sunday matinee installment of our Charlie Chaplin Tribute, you’ll find out how Chaplin conquered the world with his comic antics!

Chaplin was the first truly global superstar, drawing crowds in the tens of thousands wherever he traveled. This program explores that fame, the iconic Tramp character at its core, and what was going on behind the scenes.

Dan Kamin’s entertaining and informative multi-media presentation will be illustrated with rare and fascinating images, music and pristine restored film from the period, including Chaplin’s blockbuster war comedy “Shoulder Arms,” released while World War One was still raging.

Don’t miss this excursion into the public and private worlds of the comic legend whose films still make audiences roar with laughter.
