TEDxSavannah: Standard Deviation

Jun 5, 2020

Guided by a mission to share ideas worth spreading, TEDxSavannah welcomes the public to enjoy live speaker presentations from area residents and official TED Talk videos designed to spark deep discussion.

TEDxSavannah, an independently organized, day-long event based on the international TED talk phenomenon will host its 11th anniversary event on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Esther F. Garrison School for the Arts’ Yamacraw Center for the Performing Arts, located at 649 W. Jones St.

The theme for the 2020 event is Standard Deviation. This fresh theme will initiate fascinating conversations about what is “normal,” what it means to deviate from the norm and who decides what is acceptable and what is not.

Individuals interested in attending this unique, fully immersive event are encouraged to purchase their tickets early, as tickets frequently sell out in advance.

The $80 ticket price includes event seating, a delicious lunch, a ticket to the after-party, onsite parking, coffee and snacks during discussion breaks.

Those interested in speaking at the event must submit an application by Sunday, January 26, 2020. Speaker applications can be found at tedxsavannah.com.
