Savannah Convention Center Expansion

The Savannah Convention Center announced that funding has been approved for a major expansion to its facility. The expanded building is scheduled to open in 2024.

After the expansion, the Savannah Convention Center will include:

• 200,000 square feet of exhibit hall space
• A 58-foot-wide hangar door
• A new 40,000-square-foot ballroom
• 32 customizable break-out rooms
• 900-space parking garage
• Additional outdoor space
• A new facility entrance with an all-glass façade

Together with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, Savannah leaders officially broke ground on the Savannah Convention Center expansion project. Once complete, the Savannah Convention Center will be the 72nd largest convention center in the country. Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2024.
