Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K Traffic Information

The Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K will take place this Saturday, April 7, resulting in road closures. More than 2,500 people will participate in this fourth annual race event.

Roads will be closed starting at 7:00 a.m., with the majority of the 5K route reopening by 8:30 a.m. The half marathon route will temporarily close Victory Drive between 8-10:30 a.m. Detours will be at Abercorn and Bee Roads. The Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department will assist with the event, allowing cars to safely cross the course at major intersections. Click here for more information on the routes.

The race weekend will begin with a Fashion Fitness Expo at The DeSoto Hotel from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Friday, April 6. The half marathon and 5K races start at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, with the post-race party to be held in Forsyth Park.
