Welcome to the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens at the Historic Bamboo Farm (CGBG)! We are a historic public garden located 15 miles from historic downtown Savannah, Georgia and one of the region’s favorite tourist stops. CGBG is part of the University of Georgia’s College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences and we offer year-round educational classes and workshops for all ages and abilities, special events and opportunities for visitors to connect with nature and be inspired through our beautiful display gardens and collections. Your admission fee supports our educational and outreach programs and garden maintenance.

Beautiful garden even in the heat of July! Bamboo maze was shady walk. The white garden would be a lovely wedding spot.

“Beautiful Garden!”

Be sure to visit during camellias in bloom. You won’t be disappointed. Besides gorgeous live oaks, white garden, there is an orchid greenhouse, palmetto garden and lovely walkways.

“What A Great Experience ”
