Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Moshe Safdie, Telfair Museums’ Jepson Center presents highlights from the museum’s modern and contemporary collection and also treats visitors to an ever-changing array of exceptional artwork—from classical European masters to daring emerging artists. Also featuring a hands-on children’s museum space, daily drop-in studio activities for all ages, a café, unique shopping, and the Jepson Center is home to the Bird Girl statue made famous by the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Your wedding is a work of Art! A distinctive state-of-the-art museum the Jepson Center can accommodate very large groups in its soaring atrium, expansive galleries, and third-floor outdoor sculpture terraces. Located on Telfair Square, the Jepson Center also features a sweeping, three-story central staircase ideally suited for the grandest of grand entrances, a 200-seat auditorium for presentations and small performances, a fully equipped boardroom, museum store, and catering kitchen. The Telfair Academy has been Savannah’s wedding reception location of choice for decades. This elegant building provides every event held there with a backdrop of world-class art and historic architecture. With its romantic, three-story Rotunda, classically beautiful Sculpture Gallery, remarkable period rooms, and intimate galleries, the Telfair Academy will make any size event truly memorable. The two largest rooms in the Telfair Academy are the Rotunda and the Sculpture Gallery. The Rotunda can accommodate as many as 100 for a sit-down dinner and 150 for a cocktail reception. The Sculpture Gallery can accommodate up to 100 for a sit-down dinner and 150 for cocktails. The facility provides ample room for musicians and dancing.
We were very impressed the this set of museums. The Jepson Center was great and the other two museums were also wonderful.
Very nice art museum and of course it is home to the Bird Girl statue of The Garden of Good and Evil fame. But, there is more. This location is just one of three in the tour package.
There is 3 museums with one ticket at $20. We went to the modern museum first and they had a Rodan showing watch was good. All the art was good. In the main house which was Telfairs house the art was...
