Info & Amenities

Troupial is a Venezuelan specialty coffee shop and restaurant located in the heart of Savannah's Starland District. It is the first Arepa Bar in town, a 100% Venezuelan concept with a local touch that catches the interest of any North American. This vibrant and colorful spot is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, a tasty arepa, or a full-blown Venezuelan meal. Troupial was founded in 2019 by a Venezuelan couple, Majo and Nico. They wanted to create a space where people could come together to enjoy Venezuelan culture and cuisine. The restaurant is named after the troupial, a colorful bird that is native to Venezuela. Troupial's coffee menu features a variety of Venezuelan coffees, as well as other specialty coffees from around the world. The coffee beans are roasted on-site, and the baristas are experts in brewing the perfect cup of coffee. If you're looking for something to eat, Troupial offers a variety of Venezuelan dishes, including arepas (cornmeal pancakes filled with a variety of toppings), empanadas (fried pastries filled with meat, cheese, or vegetables), and cachapas (sweet corn pancakes). Troupial also has a full breakfast and lunch menu.
