Job Description

Title: Video Production Coordinator        

Date: April 2018

Reports to: Director of Digital Marketing

Schedule: Monday – Friday in the office; weekends, as needed

Overview of Position:

To produce marketing content, including but not limited to video and photo content, for use in Visit Savannah, Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, and Visit Tybee campaigns. The ideal candidate should be skilled in visual storytelling, digital editing and asset management. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • The coordinator should be skilled in using video equipment including camera, mics, lighting, and other accessories. The coordinator should also have the ability to edit the video footage into final video files including graphics, adding music and other video work as required. The ability to operate a drone is a plus. Photography skills also a plus. The coordinator will produce video content for the following units:
    •  Visit Savannah
    • Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce
    • Visit Savannah: Meetings & Conventions
    • Savannah Sports Council
    • Visit Tybee 
  • Coordinate video and photo shoots from start to finish (models, location scouting and notification, scheduling, music, permitting, etc).
  • Edit video and photo content as needed and as required based on distribution and purpose (short clips for Instagram, longer features for website, etc).
  • Manage and maintain YouTube channels
  • Manage and maintain image libraries including online asset management program
  • Work with digital content team to create monthly content calendar
  • Work with PR team to create videos for pitching purposes
  • Track all photography and videography member features in CRM
  • Establish and maintain brand voice and tone in all outsourced video and photo content
  • Conduct audit and assessment of digital assets 
  • Create b-roll from existing assets and add to it as needed
  • Manage I-95 Welcome Center video screens and content as well as any future remote screens

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Photography/Videography or related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3-5 years experience in related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of video and photo editing software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant software programs
  • Demonstrated strong background in videography and photography, and an ability to learn new technology
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Flexible working hours to include some nights and weekends
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work off site as needed and self-motivated
